It does have a few glitches, but overall, it's a nice product with plenty of good features. The original annual price of $72 was too much for the few times I would use it in the course of a year, but the special rate of $18 was reasonable. If I would use it more, it would be worth it, although I hate subscriptions. We'll see if I use it enough to justify renewing next year.

How do I start a license server?
Access TOOLS in the Windows Start menu. In TOOLS, click the Service/License File tab. Select to Configure Using Services option. Select the service name for the license server you want to stop manually. Click the Start/Stop/Reread tab. Stop the server.
How do I start RIM server?
Open the RIM server's web interface using a browser. From the server machine go to http://localhost:5054 or from another machine use http://servername:5054 replacing server name as appropriate. On the left side of the main page select Reread/Restart Servers, and then on that page click on Reread Licenses.
What is RIM server?
The basic job of the RIM License Server is to service license requests from Re-enabled client applications over the network. They manage held and shared licenses, and offer an admin interface, diagnostic tools, and are responsible for writing debug and report logs.
How do I start RIM on Mac?
Open a web browser, and in the address bar, type localhost:5054 and press ENTER. This will open RIM Web Admin. Tip Ignore Activate. That's for a different kind of license, not for Solid Angle licenses.
