What our customers say about pdfFiller
See for yourself by reading reviews on the most popular resources:
It's a great solution for my business needs. We are constantly filling out PDF or MS WORD based forms, be they applications, requests, official government forms, etc... My subscription allows me to now more quickly and professionally, turn-around those important documents. Those same documents, before the PDF-filler subscription, were always hand signed, if not hand filled out completely, then manually scanned into our systems and sent back to the interested party via email. Now I just edit any official document(s) I receive, with tools that keep them looking professional and consistent, and send them back to the desired place either via email or by sharing them, with easily 75% less effort and 75% less time than our previous methods for achieving for the same outcome. I am very happy with our subscription and have had my wife buy one for her own personal use.

extremely convenient and fairly easy to use, but i need to find time to sit down and learn more features other than just filling out forms and signing them. I think the vvalue of a yearly subscription is very good.

works fine, just hate that PDFfiller does not hold passwords for very long. use this account on two computers and always have to reset password from one to the other!

Editing PDFs has never been easier
I needed forms to be editable so members could easily fill things out and return them for us to add to our electronic database.
PDFfiller has a variety of helpful tools, but my most favorite feature is making a PDF form editable! Game changer.
The learning curve with PDF filler was a little bit more cumbersome than just opening a PDF and being able to edit it.

I appreciate the different features to edit the documents. I primarily used it for my studies, where I have to closely read a large amount of texts and am not always able or willing to print them (also due to ecological reasons).
However something that annoyed me somewhat is the fact, that one can not edit the font of individual words in a textbox. For example when I want to underline a specific word in a sentence, it automatically underlines the whole passage.

I mislead them on my intentions for the service level that I required. Once I brought it to their attention, I answered 3 questions; and the matter was immediately resolved. Outstanding customer service comms. !!!

Can I take the standard deduction if I itemize?
You can take either the standard deduction or itemized deductions on your tax return. You can't do both. The question is which method saves you more money. Here's what it boils down to: If your standard deduction is less than your itemized deductions, you probably should itemize.
When should you itemize instead of claiming the standard deduction?
You should itemize deductions if your allowable itemized deductions are greater than your standard deduction or if you must itemize deductions because you can't use the standard deduction. You may be able to reduce your tax by itemizing deductions on Form 1040, Schedule A, Itemized Deductions (PDF).
Is it better to itemize or take standard deduction for 2018?
For single filers, the deduction for the 2018 tax year is $12,000. That's nearly double the 2017 value of $6,350. For married taxpayers filing jointly, the standard deduction for the 2018 tax year is $24,000, up from $12,700. Because of the higher standard deduction, fewer people will benefit from itemizing.
Do you get the standard deduction if you itemize?
And if someone can claim you as a dependent, you get a smaller standard deduction. One note for married people: You can't take the standard deduction if you're married but filing separately and your spouse chooses to itemize. You both have to do the same thing either itemize or take the standard deduction.
Can you itemize and take standard deduction in 2018?
The new tax law also eliminated personal exemptions and nearly doubled the standard deduction to about $12,000 for singles and $24,000 for married joint filers which will likely result in fewer people taking itemized deductions on their 2018 returns. ... You might not itemize in the future if you were itemizing before.
Can I deduct property taxes if I take the standard deduction?
The answer: It's still a deduction, but most taxpayers won't be able to use it. The bottom line is that yes, property taxes are still deductible in 2018 and beyond. However, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act has severely limited the deduction, especially for taxpayers in states where they're likely to need the deduction most.
Are property taxes deductible in 2019?
To claim a property tax deduction, the Internal Revenue Service requires that you actually make the payment during the same year you report the deduction. When filing your 2019 tax return in 2020, for example, you can only deduct the property taxes you paid on or between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2019.
How much of your property taxes are tax-deductible?
You can deduct annual real estate taxes based on the assessed value of your property by your city or state. Beginning in 2018, the total amount of state and local taxes, including property taxes, that you can deduct is limited to $10,000 per year.
Are property taxes still deductible?
* You can claim an itemized deduction for state and local real property taxes. However, for 2018-2025, you cannot deduct more than $10,000 for state and local property and state and local income taxes combined, or $5,000 if you use married filing separate status. This sounds not as good as before the TCA, but still OK.
What does it mean to itemize?
An itemized deduction is an expenditure on eligible products, services, or contributions that can be subtracted from adjusted gross income (AGI) to reduce your tax bill. ... Allowable itemized deductions, sometimes subject to limits, include such expenses as mortgage interest, charitable gifts, and medical expenses.
