I LOVE pdffiller, but need to know more about how to use it. For instance, how can I hide the "establishing a secure connection" message when the form loads on my webpage? And how to change the color of the highlighted fields?

It was very easy to Fill out the PDF. Then I was suprised I could also mail it, from the same website.
I can upload a PDF and have it mailed, even by Certified Mail.
That you can mail or fax the PDF. You can like email to fax. Which is very good. Especially since I don't have a phone anymore, let alone a fax, since I just use my Cell Phone.
Technical support is terrific. They are always availble, they know everything, they are very helpful. For example, one technician let me email him my PDF, he fixed it for me, and emailed back to me.

What do you like best?
In our busy world, it is great to find a tool like PDFfiller to make things easier and to make sure private information is kept private. We no longer send attachments that can be read in an email that has sensitive information. Using templates has cut down our document sharing time! We now create a template that can be used over and over again. The big win in the form filling tool is the ability to add validation for the data entry.
What do you dislike?
The only complaint I get from users is PDFfiller documents are not showing up in their primary inbox. They have to search for them. We made it mandatory to check the box to send a copy of the email notification to our email address. This has made it easier to forward the email with the secure link to the recipient if they can't seem to find the PDFfiller email generated to them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Really take a look at your existing document and take the time to setup templates.

PDFfiller in a medical office
Overall, very pleased with the program. Love the east of use, wish the file saving was a little easier.
I like being able to upload patient forms that need completed (i.e. FMLA or short term disability) and completing neatly with PDFfiller, instead of handwriting, etc.
I love the east of emailing or faxing directly from the program as well. The confirmation of receipt or email being read is nice.
Some times the text boxes are difficult to line up or get placed properly but I really feel with more use I will become better with these small tweaks.

Easy to Use
It's kind of a time saver in the end with not have to use the typewriter or hand write them, would be easier though if you didn't have type each form, if they are the same it should copy the data onto each one.
I liked that I didn't have to pull out (yes it's a dinosaur) typewriter to fill out my 1099's every year any more once I found this program online. I can also use it for other forms as well.
I don't like that you have to retype each 1099 for each copy of the form, it should carry them forward to each copy and you just review them for differences.

What do you like best?
The ability to modify documents specific to our needs. The Tools provided give me maximum ability to modify, add, remove and edit any document in any way that is needed.
What do you dislike?
I haven't encountered anything I dislike about this product.

How do I track a PDF document?

Can you track a PDF file?
We have found that there is no feasible way to track PDF documents within the file with any, or even most, PDF viewers. However, if your end-goal is to track if your document was opened, who opened it, for how long each page was read and on what device, among others. Then, I would recommend you try Helping.
Can you tell if a PDF has been opened?
Yes, definitely. Using a PDF document security tool, you will not only know whether your file is being viewed, it is possible to know whether someone else outside your intended audience/recipient list has opened the PDF.
How do I anonymize a PDF?
Open the PDF document. Choose “Tools” and then select “Redact.” Choose Remove Hidden Information and wait for the tool to finish running. If any items appear in the Results, click Remove. Save the file, note that identity information is not removed until the file is saved.
How do I view edits on a PDF?
Select View > Track Changes Toolbar. To see how a document would look if you accepted all changes, select Show Final. To see how a document would look if you accepted all changes, select Review > Show Final.
How do I change metadata in a PDF?
Choose File > Properties, click the Description tab, and then click Additional Metadata. Select Advanced from the list on the left. To edit the metadata, do any of the following, and then click OK.
