Open a Publisher file or a new blank document and click the Insert tab. Click the Object button on the ribbon. At the Insert Object pop-up window click the Creation from File radio button. Browse to the Word document you want to open in Publisher and double-click the file name.
Hold down SHIFT and click the objects you want to copy. Right-click the objects, and then click Copy. Right-click where you want to copy the objects, and then click Paste.
Open the Microsoft program that contains the table text that you want. Select the text that you want. Right-click the selected text, and then click Copy. Note: If you copied the entire table, click where you want to insert the table in your Publisher file, right-click, and then click Paste.
Hold down SHIFT and click the objects you want to copy. Right-click the objects and click Copy. Right-click where you want to copy the objects, and under Paste Options, click Paste.
Paste formatting Copy formatting and then select the text you wish to copy the formatting to and press Control + Shift + V to paste the formatting.
The file type cannot be opened by most other applications, including other Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Word. As such it is considered an inappropriate file type for sharing with others. However, it is noted that it is possible to view. Pub files using the trial version of Microsoft Publisher.
Launch Microsoft Publisher. ... Click on the publication type you want to create in the left column. ... Scroll through the templates in the right pane to find the template you want to use. ... Select your template, then click on Start Wizard in the bottom right corner of the Catalog window.
Open the PUB file using LibreOffice Draw. Create a document in another LibreOffice application that supports the format you want to save in.
