Although I found the product to be useful and efficient, i decided that I did not have the volume of **** to justify an ongoing subscription and canceled. A paypal charge a month later for a year's subscription alerted me to still having an active acct under a 2nd email address. I immediately contacted customer support via Chat and within a matter of minutes the agent terminated the account and send a credit back to my paypal account. Truly amazing customer service! What are the 6 events of the Act?
There are six test events: A three-repetition strength deadlift (muscular strength test that mimics movements to safely and effectively lift and carry heavy loads), a standing power throw (measures upper- and lower-body muscular power, balance and whole body flexibility), an arm extension push-up (measures upper-body
What are the events of the Act?
The ACT is a six-event physical fitness test. The test events are administered in the following order: 3 Repetition Maximum Deadlift (MDL), Standing Power Throw (SPT), Hand-Release Push-up (HIP), Sprint- Drag-Carry (SDC), Leg Tuck (LTD), and 2-Mile Run (2MR).
How do you pass the Act?
deadlift 140lbs for 3 repetitions. Standing power throw a 10lbs ball 4.5 meters. Execute 10 hand-release push-ups. Complete the sprint-drag-carry in 3 minutes. Do 1 leg tuck. Run 2 miles in less than 21:00.
Is the Act harder than the Aft?
Definitely a better measure of physical fitness than the AFT, and a regular workout regime in a gym would directly improve your results on the ACT. It's easy to pass, harder to do well. And it's definitely exposing a lot of soldiers who have just been skating by with the minimum.
Is the Act based on MOS?
Yes, the ACT is based on your MOS. Age and Gender no longer have an impact on your Army PT Test Standards, minimum scores or maximum scores.
What is a good score on the Act?
A score of “70” is the minimum for soldiers in “heavy” physically demanding units or jobs. A score of “65” is for soldiers in “significant” physically demanding units or jobs. And a score of “60” is for soldiers in “moderate” physically demanding units or jobs.
What is a good Aft score?
How is the AFT scored? The Army Physical Fitness Test (AFT) score is rated by gender and age. A 300 is the best possible score one can achieve, but all you need is a passing score. The AFT standards require Soldiers to achieve at least 60 points per event in order to pass.
What is the minimum PT score for Army?
The badge is awarded to Soldiers who obtain a minimum total score of 270, with a minimum score of 90 on each event, of the Army Physical Fitness Test (AFT). The AFT standard for Basic Training is a minimum of 50 points per event and no less than 150 points overall by the end of basic training.
