Click “File,” and then click the “Info” tab to display the Permission settings panel for your current Word document. Click the “Protect Document” icon to display a list of available document protection features. Click “Restrict Editing” to prevent copying but enable some types of editing of the document.
Download and install copy-protection software, such as Share guard, Primer Crikey or WebToolMaster. Launch the installed application on your computer. Place your blank DVD into the computer's CD/DVD optical drive.
Insert your USB stick to the computer port, and assume that there are many data in your USB drive. Go to the Permission Settings panel where you can set the restrictions for the users to use the USB drive and its contents.
Re: Prevent Excel file from being copied From Excel 2010, click File, Info, Protect Workbook, Restrict Permission By People, Manage credentials and sign up. After that you can set up who is allowed to do what.
When the File menu is open, click the Info tab and then Protect Document. Once you see the Protect Document menu, click Encrypt with Password and enter a password of your choosing. Then, click OK and the document will be password-protected.
Open the form that you want to lock or protect. Click Home > Select > Select All, or press CTRL+A. Click Developer > Restrict Editing. After selecting restrictions, click Yes, Start Enforcing Protection.
Adding protection to a Word document serves as a safeguard, preventing unauthorized access or changes to the document. You might require a password to open the file, for example, or place restrictions on editing all or only certain parts of the document.
Highlight the parts of your Word document you want to lock. To select different parts of your document, hold down the “Ctrl” key as you highlight the next area you want to lock.
