I am a self represented defendant in a small claims case. I cannot afford an attorney. With the robust capabilities, and plenty of time on my hands, I can plow through the case law and ca civil codes, but I can't readily find and fill out forms. Great software
Great software! Very easy to use and does just about everything you would want a PDF editor to do. The only issue I had was when replacing text the text box deleted the line the text was sitting on and I ended up with a break in the line. Other than that I highly recommend!

definitely easy to use. however some date fields do not have the "calendar" option, so you are forced to manually enter the date. That could be made easier.

How do you determine a lease?
The first thing you need to determine when identifying if a lease exists in a contract is if the contract conveys the right to control the use of identified property, plant, or equipment (an identified asset) for a period in exchange for consideration.
How do you figure out a lease payment?
Identify the number of the monthly payments on the lease. Then subtract the residual value from the net capitalized cost. Divide the resulting number by the number of payments. The result is the depreciation portion of the lease payment. For example, you lease a new car for three years.
How do you calculate a lease payment?
In broad terms, you calculate a lease by determining and adding the depreciation fee, plus a monthly sales tax and a financing fee. If you're looking to calculate your payment manually, here is the formula: Start with the sticker price (MSRP) of the car. Take the MSRP and multiply it by the residual percentage.
What is the lease payment on a $30000 car?
A $30,000 vehicle with a 65 percent residual would have a base monthly payment of $292 before taxes, interest and fees. Choosing the vehicle with the higher residual percentage would net a savings of more than $200 per month for a vehicle with the same selling price.
How do I know I got a good deal on a lease?
Any lease that costs less than $125/month per $10,000 worth of vehicle is considered a good lease deal. Anything below $105 per $10K is a fantastic deal. IF (“Real” Monthly Payment / MSRP) * 10,000 is less than $125, then it's a good lease deal. The very best lease deals I've seen hover around the $100 per $10k mark.
What is the 1 rule in leasing?
The One Percent Rule. The so-called one-percent method of sizing up a lease offer is based on the concept of dividing the monthly payment (not including sales tax, if any) by the MSRP sticker price of the car. If the result is very close to 1%, or less, the better the deal.
What is a good car lease?
Generally, a good deal is when your monthly payment is equal to one percent of the retail price of the car, with only drive-off fees due upfront (first month's payment, document fees, and vehicle registration). For example: Let's say your lease costs $5,000 for 24 months including taxes. If you make a $1,500 down payment, you're going to pay $3,500 over that 24-month lease term, which makes your monthly payment $145.84. If you make a $500 down payment, you're going to pay $4,500 over 24 months, or $187.50 per month.
