What do you like best?
As a Realtor, my whole business is based on electronic documentation. PDF filler is kind of named poorly, because it really is a PDF editor. It allows you to easily change almost anything on a pdf document...across both desktop and mobile platforms. It simply works as you'd expect it to...every time. I use it practically every day.
What do you dislike?
I wish there were better tools for generating lines (how about a toggle into and out of orthagonal for a line?) It should allow deeper zooming with a thumbnail view showing where you are in the overall document. I like my pdfs to look perfect and sometimes these limit me in that goal.

What do you like best?
I love that this is a user friendly and cost efficient alternative to PDF editing. I have found that it can do everything (and more) than other services can. It is easy to use and excellent solution for our company
What do you dislike?
The SINGLE thing that I am not a fan of is the fact that encrypted pdfs can be sent but NOT returned encrypted. Sometimes I will send a form to an employee and need the PDF to be encrypted returned back to me and there is no option for that.

The encrypted services have been a burden but the benefits are abundant. It is a great tool and I love that I can send our employees forms to fill out and they can receive/return them from their phones.

Necessity for any business
I have to sign releases, NDA's and contracts on a daily basis for my clients. If it wasn't for this software I would be very stuck and not able to do my job without printing and faxing.
What I like most about this software is what it does. If you are in business than you must have this.
What I like least about this software is that they charge. I believe this should be a free download due to many forms and contracts being in a PDF format.

I find the programming impressive. I find the website less so as it is really quite hard to find out how do so such simple and presumably popular things as setting up formatted forms for use on a website. Too, find some terms a bit confusing such as template vice a fillable pdf vice a document. Maybe a startup, online primer to show exactly how to do basic things and find basic options. I will say this. My call to your support staff was excellent. Your agent told me exactly what I needed to know in that instance.

How do you transcribe?
Find a quiet space. Plug yourself in. Open a blank Google Doc. Open the Voice Typing tool. Ensure the Voice Typing button appears. Ensure your microphone is turned on and your language is set. Click the recording button, and begin speaking. Watch along as you transcribe.
How do you transcribe in Word?
Open your document within Transcribe. Load your audio/video file in Transcribe and set the playback speed as needed. Now open the template in say Microsoft Word, or your document management system or the usual program you used to type into the template.
How do you transcribe an interview in Word?
Write the name of the interviewer, interviewee, time, date and location, where it took place. Interviews are generally in question and answer format. Transcribe each and every word. Insert a paragraph in between whenever an interviewee makes a new idea. After finishing the initial draft, listen to the tape again.

Instead of typing [pause], using ., or, use a comma, which is used to indicate slight pauses in speech. Identify all nonverbal communication, such as pauses, laughter, crying, sighing, and so on. Then [laugh] the next time. Use proper punctuation.
