For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
To annotate a PDF file on Linux using Evince, you can follow these simple steps: Find the PDF file you want to annotate and open it in Evince. Once the PDF is loaded in Evince, click the Thumbnails dropdown arrow on the upper left corner. A menu of options will appear, and you will need to choose the Annotations option.
In the Text tab of the Adjust panel, do any of the following: Choose a style from the Font Style menu. Click one or more of the font style icons: Bold, Italic, Underline.
If you cannot highlight or select text in a PDF, the file might probably be a scanned copy and cannot be edited. How can you tell whether a copy was scanned?
In the Edit Module, you will find the Underline feature in the Font section. When you select it, the color pallet will open. Choose the color you'd like to use for your underline. Once you have chosen your color your mouse icon will change.
Once the text is selected, a formatting toolbar will appear above it. Click on the 'Underline' button in the formatting toolbar. The selected text will now be underlined. To remove the underline, simply click on the 'Underline' button again.
