I did not like the fact that when you decided to make it a service that charges you money, there was no warning. It forced you to pay if you wanted to keep your documents. I'm past that now and I am really ENJOYING it now that I am a paying customer.

I canceled my trial but maybe I didn't complete it on my end. Either way the subscription was charged to my card and I contacted support which usually is a nightmare when you have billing problems and it was honestly quick and painless. How do I edit a document sent by email?
Click on the File menu, then select Options. Select Customize Ribbon and then use the drop list to choose Commands not in the ribbon. Find the Edit Message tool and copy it over to a custom group in the right-hand panel. The Edit Message option should now appear in the message menu bar when there is an attachment.
How do you email a Word document, so it can be edited?
Click File > Share > Email, and then choose one of the following options: Send as Attachment Opens an email message with a copy of the file in its original file format attached. Enter the recipients' aliases, edit the subject line and message body as necessary, and then click Send.
How do I paste a Word document into an email without losing formatting?
Go to File > Options > Advanced. Undercut, copy, and paste, select the down arrow for the setting to change. Pasting within the same document When you paste content into the same document from which you copied the content. Each setting has options you can set: Keep Source Formatting. Select OK.
