Adjust Fax Article: edit PDF documents from anywhere

Using the best PDF editing tool is a must to streamline your work flow.

All the most widely used file formats can be easily converted into PDF. You can create a multi-purpose file in PDF instead of keeping its content in different file formats. Using PDF, you can create presentations and reports that are both detailed and easy to read.

Though there are many PDFs editing solutions available, it’s difficult to find one that covers all PDF editing features available on the market at a reasonable cost.

With pdfFiller, you are able to edit, annotate, convert PDF files into many other formats, add your signature and fill out in one browser tab. You don’t need to download any applications.

Use one of these methods to upload your form template and start editing:

01
Drag and drop a document from your device.
02
Upload a document from the cloud storage (Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, One Drive and others).
03
Browse the Legal library.
04
Open the Enter URL tab and insert the link to your sample.
05
Search for the form you need from the catalog.

Once the document is uploaded, it’s saved and can be found in the “My Documents” folder.

Use powerful editing tools such as typing text, annotating, blacking out and highlighting. Change a form’s page order. Once a document is completed, download it to your device or save it to the third-party integration cloud. Collaborate with other people to fill out the document. Add images into your PDF and edit its layout. Add fillable fields and send for signing.

What do you like best?
I like how easy it is to edit the content of a PDF. I've recently had to adjust a few documents which were not previously editable for me, and this has made it simple to keep things updated.
What do you dislike?
I would like to be able to choose the file destination when selecting Save As, rather than it defaulting to my Downloads folder.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
We've recently implemented new contracts for our accounts, and using PDFfiller has made creating them so easy. It's saved me a significant amount of time.

For pdfFiller’s FAQs

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
If it is the icon on the left, that is the symbol for fax facing up put the document into the feeder with the blank side towards the feeder and the information side of the document facing outwards.
Face Down. When you insert the document you want to fax with the printed side toward the machine, the document's text and graphics are face down against the tray. The fax machine then pulls the document down the tray and scans the document's content.
The first thing to look for is a small icon next to the paper feeder on the fax machine. The icon should be a picture of a piece of paper with the top corner folded. If the icon has lines of text on the front of it then you should send a fax with the paper face up.
Place the document you want to send in the document feeder. ... Enter the fax number you want to send to, including and extensions to dial externally, and any international dialing codes. Press Send or Go (depending on your fax machine model)
Dial the fax number. Check or ask about your machine. The country code (the number 1 for US phones and fax numbers) will also sometimes need to be dialed before local numbers but only when the area code is also required. The country code is almost always necessary to dial long distance numbers.
If you want to use a fax machine which only scans one side to send both sides in a single fax, the solution is to make a copy of one side of each page, then put the pages in order so that you end up with a document which has both the front (on the original pages) and the back (on the copies) all on the same side.
Dial the fax number. Check or ask about your machine. The country code (the number 1 for US phones and fax numbers) will also sometimes need to be dialed before local numbers but only when the area code is also required. The country code is almost always necessary to dial long distance numbers.
If your FAX is connected to an office network of telephones, where you must dial '9' to get an “outside” line, then your FAX must also dial '9'. If you are trying to send a FAX to a “long-distance” telephone-number in Canada/USA, then you must dial '1' after dialing '9'.
The first thing to look for is a small icon next to the paper feeder on the fax machine. The icon should be a picture of a piece of paper with the top corner folded. If the icon has lines of text on the front of it then you should send a fax with the paper face up.
To dial a fax number within the same area code, only the 8-digit number is dialed, for a total of 8 digits. To dial the same fax number from within a different area code, a leading '0' is dialed, then the area code (1 digit), then the eight digit local number, for a total of 10 digits.
