Locate the Current SSY Agreement template
First, go to the pdfFiller website and log in to your account. Then, click on the "Templates" tab on the top navigation bar. In the search bar, type "Current SSY Agreement" to find the appropriate template.

Fill out the Current SSY Agreement

Once the recipients receive the email, they'll be able to sign the document electronically using their mouse or touchpad. Once they've added their signature, the document will automatically be saved as a PDF and sent back to you.

Download and Save
After all parties have signed the document, you can download and save the signed PDF to your computer. Simply click on the "Download" button and select "PDF" as the file format. Your signed document is now ready to use.

A legally binding written agreement is an agreement which is valid and therefore enforceable. It means that the parties who have signed the agreement are expected to fulfil their obligations under the agreement. If they do not, they may be penalized.

It also includes the signer's rights regarding if they later withdrawal their consent and any consequences of this decision.
DESIGN treats commercial and consumer transactions differently, however. For commercial transactions, the parties' agreement to conduct the transaction will be implied from the facts and circumstances of the transaction or by an express statement of intent.
The UETA has been adopted by 47 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The three states that have not adopted the BETA (New York, Illinois, and Washington) have all adopted similar laws making electronic signatures legally enforceable.

For an electronic signature to be legally binding under the DESIGN Act, it is recommended that all electronic signature workflows include: Intent to sign. Similar to ink signatures, a signer must show clear intent to sign an agreement electronically.
