PDFFILLER HAS CHANGED MY PRACTICE - FOR THE BETTER I use this software everyday and have found it a necessity in my practice. Prior to having pdffiller, we still had to type into forms using a TYPEWRITER. No joke. With my legal practice there are numerous forms that we have to fill out. Not only does pdffiller have the usual ability to enter Text into a form, but the feature we rely on the most is the ability to DELETE and RE-TYPE into the document. This has improved the time it takes to draft and amend documents that were not originally created by our office. Sometimes it is difficult to save under a different name and I often accidentally save over a prior document.

Below is a list of the most common customer questions. If you can’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Even emails and text messaging can constitute a legally binding agreement! ... In fact, this document was never drafted (never mind signed), but the court confirmed that the parties intended to be bound by the terms which they informally negotiated and agreed in the emails.
Texts are not legal documents, and are sometimes not admissible in court as evidence of communication. If you want to confirm that there has been a meeting of the minds between landlord and tenant, which is what will ultimately need to be proven in court to bind both parties, send the final document in writing.
Real writing. Not text. If, however, there are terms in the original lease agreement that allow for texting to be considered as legal written notice, then texting is indeed legally binding. ... But absent a contract term to the contrary, a text standing alone is not always considered legally binding.
Texting has become so common in real estate transactions. Clients text their agents, and agents text each other regarding showings and offers. What no one really thinks about are those text messages creating binding contracts. According to a recent court case, text messages can be legally binding in real estate deals.
Don't text formal written notices to a tenant. If you are giving a tenant a notice that is required by statute to be in writing (such as a notice that you need to enter the premises or terminate the lease), do not text it. ... Text messages are not legal documents. They are easily (and sometimes accidentally) deleted.
A legally binding contract is a contract agreement that is valid under state and federal contract laws. Legally binding means that the parties must obey the terms written in the contract and perform their contract duties as stated. Failure to do so may result in legal consequences, such as a damages award.
All parties must be in agreement (after an offer has been made by one party and accepted by the other). Something of value must be exchanged -- such as cash, services, or goods (or a promise to exchange such an item) -- for something else of value.
A Legally Enforceable Agreement Between Two or More Parties. ... It is a legally enforceable agreement between two or more parties where it is normally constituted by one party making an offer and the other indicating its acceptance. The promises made by the parties define the rights and obligations of the parties.
The four requirements for a valid contract are an offer, acceptance by the other party of the offer, a mutual agreement or meeting of the minds of the...
Binding contracts are legal agreements between two or more parties, which are enforceable by law. Binding contracts aren't always in writing. Sometimes, verbal statements can be legally construed as an offer or contract, even when the party never intended it as such.
