such an amazing site!! I love PDFfiller.com!! it makes editing forms so simple and easy! I would have rated 5 stars but I have a difficult time using it on mobile devices.. other than that it is the #1 tool I go to when I have to edit or even FIND a document using the search tool! when I finish a document I can send via TEXT, eMail, Fax, WhatsApp and so many more!! or I can just print or save for later. What is immediate settlement of soil?
Immediate settlement takes place in a short time (about a week) after application of load and is due to elastic distortion of the soil. As the settlement is experienced in a short time, there will not be enough time for soil mass for change in its water content. Immediate settlement is computed by elastic theory.
