Can you send confidential documents via Teams?
For the highly sensitive level of protection, we use a sensitivity label to classify the team. We also use this label to classify and encrypt individual files in the team. (It can also be used on files in other file locations such as SharePoint or OneDrive.)
Can multiple people edit a document in Teams at the same time?
You will be able to edit the document simultaneously with other users, and will see their changes in real time. The document will be saved automatically as you go. Simultaneous editing will work in desktop Word as long as it's up to date, and in Teams and Word Online regardless of version.
Can Teams be used as a document management system?
You can manage files directly from the Microsoft Teams file tab or the underlying SharePoint site. When creating a new team, a SharePoint Online team site is created with a single document library.
Can you share documents on Microsoft Teams?

Disable and Re-enable Document Sharing: In Settings, go to General and disable the Share documents from OneDrive option.
