How do I delete a sticky note?
Open Settings/System/Apps and Features/Sticky Notes. After you click Sticky Notes, click Advanced Options. Click Reset. A pop up warning will notify you that any current data in Sticky Notes will be deleted. Exit the Settings, go to Start and try Sticky Notes again.

Note that there is still no way you can close single sticky note without deleting it. And to minimize the Sticky Notes app, just click its icon on the taskbar once.
