Select the cell that contains the formula you want to edit. Press F2 to change to Edit mode. If necessary, use the Home, End, and arrow keys to position the insertion point within the cell contents.
CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + F9 to recheck all formula dependencies and then recalculate all formulas. Select any blank cell, press F2 and then Enter. Re-enter = : Select cells that contain formulas you'd like to update. Press CTRL + H. Find what: = Replace with: =
Type the formula you want to appear in each cell in the set, then press Ctrl+Enter. If you want to change an existing formula in the cells, simply create your selection set of those cells and then use Find and Replace to search for the formula you want to change.
Just select all the cells at the same time, then enter the formula normally as you would for the first cell. Then, when you're done, instead of pressing Enter, press Control + Enter. Excel will add the same formula to all cells in the selection, adjusting references as needed.

The calculation is configured to Manual The cell is formatted as Text. Show Formulas button is turned on. Space entered before the Equal sign.
To refresh the current cell — press F2 + Enter. To refresh the current tab — press Shift + F9. To refresh the entire workbook — press F9.
Check for Automatic Recalculation On the Formulas ribbon, look to the far right and click Calculation Options. On the dropdown list, verify that Automatic is selected. When this option is set to automatic, Excel recalculates the spreadsheet's formulas whenever you change a cell value.
To update the information to match the data source, click the Refresh button, or press ALT+F5. You can also right-click the Portable, and then click Refresh. To refresh all Portables in the workbook, click the Refresh button arrow, and then click Refresh All.
