Confusing to learn and there is a lot to learn. There is no simple way to learn that I can see . I contacted support but it is only a way to answer one question at a time . While I might recommend it to someone , it would be with caution about how complicated it is

I made a mistake and bought a year subscription instead of one month as I needed, I immediately emailed customer support and thought I would be waiting days for a reply if I was lucky, but to my surprise I received a response within 2 minutes. She offered to change my subscription and refund the rest of my money, I of course excepted and they changed it immediately! ***** ******** for your amazing customer service! And your forms, that have been time saving!

How do you assemble a genome?
To assemble a genome, computer programs typically use data consisting of single and paired reads. Single reads are simply the short sequenced fragments themselves. They can be joined up through overlapping regions into a continuous sequence known as a 'config'.
How is a DNA sequence assembled?
Single reads are where one end or the whole of a fragment of DNA is sequenced. These sequences can then be joined together by finding overlapping regions in the sequence to create the full DNA sequence. Paired-end reads are where both ends of a fragment of DNA are sequenced.
What is Sequence Mapping?

How is a config generated?
The set of the overlapping DNA sequence of DNA fragments is known as a config. Config mapping is a process by which overlapping clones are assembled to sequence that overlap. Each fragment is cloned in a vector and sequenced from both ends to produce a sequence length of approximately 600700 BP.
What does genome assembly mean?
The genome assembly is simply the genome sequence produced after chromosomes have been fragmented, those fragments have been sequenced, and the resulting sequences have been put back together. Each species in Ensemble has a reference genome assembly that is produced by an international genome consortium.
Why have a genome assembly?
Genome assembly refers to the process of putting nucleotide sequence into the correct order. Assembly is required, because sequence read lengths at least for now are much shorter than most genomes or even most genes.
What is Assembly in bioinformatics?
In bioinformatics, sequence assembly refers to aligning and merging fragments from a longer DNA sequence in order to reconstruct the original sequence. Typically, the short fragments, called reads, result from shotgun sequencing genomic DNA, or gene transcript (EST's).
