Insert an image or type the text that you'd like the recipient to click on to add the event to their calendar. Click on the inserted image or highlight the text, then click the link icon link in the rich text toolbar. Paste the URL you copied from the Google Calendar event in the URL field. Click Add link.
Under New Items, select Appointment. Fill in the required fields (subject, location, start time/date, end time/date) and any other pertinent information. Press Save & Close. Click the calendar icon at the bottom. Find the invitation you just created.
On your computer, open Google Calendar. Settings. Click the name of the calendar you want to share. If you want a link that doesn't require people to sign in or subscribe, click Integrate calendar and share the public link.

Open the Google Calendar app on your iOS or Android device. In the bottom right-hand corner, tap the “+” icon. Next, tap “Event” to create an event.
Launch the Calendar app from your Home screen. Either create a new event or tap an existing event that you'd like to share. Tap on the Edit button in the upper right corner. Tap on Invitees. Add all the email addresses of the people you'd like to share the event with.
