Find the Editing Time on a Document from Within Word Over on the right, the Info pane shows various information about your document. Under the Properties section, you'll see the Total Editing Time value. And note that Word always shows the time in minutes you won't see hours or seconds.
Just click the Info pane (at the top-left), and you'll see Total Editing Time displayed in the right-hand column. Open your document in Microsoft Word. On the top of your screen, click on the tab 'Tools'. In the drop-down menu, click on 'Word count'. You will see the number of pages in your document, number of words, number of characters (including and excluding spaces), number of paragraphs and number of lines in a pop-up table.

Another way to determine professional editing costs is to factor how many cuts per minute your finished video will have and multiply that figure by the finished video length. For example: a 5-minute video with 10 cuts per finished minute would yield 50 cuts.
