Works well. Had some issues with conversion time at first, seems to work well. Also had a few issues where the recipient of a PDFfiller email document, could not open the document. Definitely Useful As I mentioned, it makes the mailing process much more efficient. PDFiller allows you to create and mail PDFs easily, saving you the hassle of getting an envelope, purchasing a stamp, maybe having to go to the post office, etc. For me that has been its greatest strength. The PDF customization interface isn't bad, but it's not immediately usable. It takes a little bit of time to learn how to use it effectively. Right off the bat: I would not recommend this software to someone who isn't tech savvy or doesn't want a bit of a learning curve, for example, employers I've had in their 50s, 60s, and 70s who don't really "get" technology. The interface is fine if you just want to sign a document, but is not particularly intuitive when it comes to doing simple things like outright deleting portions of text. Too many steps.

A name control is a sequence of characters derived from a taxpayer's name that is used by IRS in processing the tax return filed by the taxpayer. A name control is established by the IRS when the taxpayer requests an Employer Identification Number (EIN).
The name control is assigned to a company by the IRS when an EIN is issued. It is commonly the first four characters of the business name. If you would like to obtain your Name Control, please contact the IRS Practitioner Priority Service at 866-860-4259 or the IRS Business & Specialty Line at 800-829-4933.
A Federal Tax Identification Number, also known as a “95 Number”, “E.I.N. Number,” or “Tax I.D. Number”, all refer to the nine-digit number issued by the IRS. They are different names for the same number.
Estates, Trusts, Fiduciaries (Form 1041) The name control that the IRS will apply for an estate is normally the first four characters of the last name of the decedent and the last name of the decedent must have the word “Estate” after the first four characters in the primary name line of the return.
The IRS matches the first 4 letters of your last name with your Social Security Number, if that is incorrect then your return will reject, and you can fix your name. If you misspelled your first name or the end of your last name and your return is accepted by the IRS, then it is too late to correct it now.
Declaration control number (DCN). The DCN is a 14-digit number assigned to each tax return. It should be included in your acknowledgement message. Clearly print or type the DCN in the top left corner of each Form 8453 after the IRS has acknowledged receipt of the electronic tax return.
