How do I password protect a PDF with Microsoft Office?
First, open the Office document you would like to protect. Click the File menu, select the Info tab, and then select the Protect Document button. Click Encrypt with Password. Enter your password then click OK.
Can you lock a PDF document?
Open the Protection panel. 2. Click Encrypt, and select Encrypt With Password. Confirm that you want to change the security of the document.
How do I convert Word to PDF and lock it?
In the File menu, select the Info tab.
Within the Info tab select the Protect Document button.
Click Encrypt with Password.
