Can PDFs delete themselves?
Originally Answered: How can I create a PDF that self-destructs or deletes itself ? There's no expiration mechanism in the PDF standard itself. But PDF viewers can impose time- or usage-based limitations, i.e. can expire the document by refusing to display it after the expiration period has been reached.
