I like having this resource as an option.
I like that it offers a clean, crisp look for documents.
The forms or finished forms look very neat when they are typed. It seems like a great option for persons to use when their handwriting is not legible.
The words do not stay within the lines. I used the software recently and the office manager had to retype the form because the words did not fit.

How much does it cost to surrender a tag?
There is a minimum of $6.25 fee for all license plate surrenders. When you cancel your license plate, the Tax Collector's Office updates your driver's license record to ensure there are no suspensions regarding Financial Responsibility (Insurance Suspension). Take a few minutes to review your registration.
Do you get money back for turning in tags?
To apply for a full 2-year refund, you must surrender the vehicle plates and the unused registration sticker and stub at a DMV office and request a 2-year refund. If eligible for the refund, the DMV office will issue a receipt that displays “two year refund.”
How much do you get for returning license plates?
Step 3: Bring the plates and PD-7 to an DMV Find a DMV office near you. County motor vehicle offices will charge you a $1 fee to process the surrender. If another person surrenders your plates for you, make sure that the person gives you the FS-6T receipt for your records.
Can I get a refund on my registration if I sell my car?
Yes. Registration fees paid after the sale of a vehicle/vessel are refundable. For example, if you sold your vehicle July 1st, but accidentally paid the registration fees on July 25th, for the registration fees due on July 31st, you are entitled a refund.
What happens if you don't turn in your tags?
If you cancel your coverage on any of your vehicles, then you will need to turn in your registration and license plates to your Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for that vehicle. If you fail to turn in these items to the DMV, you could face penalty fees for a lapse in insurance.
Do I have to turn in my license plate when I cancel insurance?
Generally, you are required to return your license plates to the DMV when canceling car insurance. Some states require you to turn in your license plate and cancel your registration before canceling your car insurance.
Can I cancel my tags online?
You may cancel your tag registration online and obtain a receipt to keep for your records and to send to your insurance company to cancel your vehicle insurance. Online tag cancellation is only available for vehicles registered to individuals and not for vehicles registered to businesses.
How do I cancel a tag?
You may cancel your registration using DRIVES e-Services or by mailing or delivering in person Form MV-18J Application of Voluntary Registration Cancellation to the County Tag Office in the county where you live, before canceling insurance coverage.
