What is a Display Name?
The display name is the name visible to other members on the forum. It can be different from the username which is used at login. When a new account is created, the display name and username are identical. If the administrator has allowed it, a member may change the display name from his or her user profile.
What is my epic display name?
Your Epic display name is the name that appears for your account on the Epic Games launcher, our official forums, Answer, and when you play any of our games on PC/Mac, Switch, or mobile. What is profile name?
User profile name. The user profile name identifies the user to the system. This user profile name is also known as the user ID. It is the name the user types in the User prompt on the Sign On display.
