I am a relatively new user to pdffiller, but have found the platform user friendly and does exactly what I need it to. Helping me modernise a lot of statutory requirements for e-signatures and template creations.

Can you find out who created a PDF file?
A PDF stores all kinds of information about the document itself, also known as metadata. Metadata includes information such as who authored the document, file size, and more.
Does PDF have author?
PDF metadata consists of information about the PDF document, which includes title of the PDF document, author, subject, keywords and copyright information. This information falls under searchable fields of a PDF document, which means that they can be accessed by search utilities.
How do I remove author from PDF on Mac?
Go to File > Save as Other > Optimized PDF... From this screen, you can select all items (metadata) you want to be removed from the file. In the “Settings” drop down menu select the “Custom” option.
How do I know who signed the PDF?
Right click the signature of interest in the Signature Panel. Select the option Show Signature Properties... Press the button Show Signer's Certificate. Select the tab Details. Select the item Subject.
