I don't typically need a lot of editing, but what I do need this service does perfectly. No guessing about what you need to do like with some other apps, and although I do sort of enjoy the uncertainty of wondering whether things will actually edit or not pdfFiller has definitely helped me be more productive.

Why can't I expand appearance in Illustrator?
If you open the file, select the layer called P3M1 and choose Object > Expand Appearance in Illustrator CC2019 it is greyed out. In Illustrator CC2018 — using the same file, and the same selection, Expand Appearance is available, and it works as expected.
What is expanded appearance in Illustrator?
Re: Expand or Expand Appearance Expand is used to nail down live effects like Warp and Envelope Distort. Before you use Expand the effect is live and can be edited anytime, as can the object the effect is applied to, letting you edit text or modify the objects affected.
