Let me start by saying I am an older (58), computer challenged kind of a guy. That said, I have found this program pretty easy to get around. I have been able to take a form my company uses and digitize it so I can actually read the responses people are giving me!! And to be able to store them electronically for future reference.

Go to transaction BD87 and enter the IOC number that we copied. (if you enter RAREST in the Message Type then you will see all IOC's that are related only to BY system).
How do I find old Idols in SAP?
Display Archived Idols in Transaction WE01 (or any other Transaction) Click on IOC Number. That displays the IOC information (control, data and status segments).

How do I find my SAP Idols?
Idols can be displayed in system via CODE WE02 and WE05. If IOC number is not known then search can be made on the basis of IOC Date, Direction, BASIC TYPE, MESSAGE TYPE, and PARTNER NUMBER. Partner number can be found in the Output Messages of the documents.
