I was sold on the ability to edit anything on the document easily with PDF filler. I have the latest copy of Nuance Power PDF Standard that I used to create an editable form and I could not figure out how to edit some of the fields on the PDF doc. (I believe the source PDF file may have been poorly designed for computer input.) Anyway, I find PDF filler very easy to use--no need to convert the document to a form--just start editing with the various tools. Neat!

Give the trial period a go, you’ll be fully exposed to the functionality of the site. Customer support is communicative and relatively fast. The site wasn’t a fit for my personal needs, but the things that it did do, it does well. Reasonably priced also if you find yourself constantly editing PDFs.

How do I apply for a stimulus check?
Have a Social Security number. File a tax return for 2018 or 2019. Check your direct-deposit information. Check your mail.
How can I add my direct deposit information to the IRS?
Direct deposit is easy to use. Just select it as your refund method through your tax software and type in the account number and routing number. Or, tell your tax preparer you want direct deposit. You can even use direct deposit if you are one of the few people still filing by paper.
How does the IRS get your bank information?
Most of it comes from three sources: Your filed tax returns. Information statements about you (Forms W-2, 1099, etc) under your Social Security Number. Data from third parties, like the Social Security Administration.
Does the IRS have my banking information?
If you e-file your tax return, the IRS should have your bank account information on file, but you should check to be sure. Using the Get My Payment portal, click on the Get My Payment button.
How do I get my IRS direct deposit information?
The Get My Payment application is supposed to address all of these needs. To use Get My Payment, go to irs.gov/get-my-payment. You should have some information handy in advance. Specifically, you need a copy of 2019 tax return (if you've already filed), or a 2018 return if you haven't done your taxes yet this year.
How can I update my bank information with the IRS?
Go to the File section of the H&R Block Online product. Choose how you want to file. Choose Direct Deposit.
Can the IRS levy your bank account without notice?
The IRS cannot freeze and seize monies in your bank account without proper notice. Once your bank receives a notice of seizure of your funds, your bank has an obligation to hold the money for at least 21 days before paying it over to the IRS.
How long does stimulus check take direct deposit?
Once your paper stimulus check is mailed, it will take up to 14 days to receive the payment, according to the IRS.
