How do you bookmark in PDF?
Click the Bookmarks button on the left to open the Bookmarks panel.
Open the page where you want the bookmark to link to, and adjust the view settings.
Use the Select tool to select the area of the page you want to bookmark: ...
Select the bookmark under which you want to place the new bookmark.
How do I automatically add bookmarks to a PDF?
In Word: click File, Save As, then Browse to select a folder to save to.
On the Save As dialog, in the File name area, enter the file name.
Click the Save as type drop-down and select PDF (*.pdf).
Click Options
Check Create bookmarks using: and select Headings.
Click OK.
