initially the software did not allow me to transform document to pdf. contact customer support and eventually the software work as instructed. last the pdf filler content page will not allow the user to rotate the document to the correct form. the document had to be rescan to the proper orientation prior to changing out the format.

Can deeds be signed electronically?

Can a deed be executed electronically? Yes! ... The Law Society's practice note states that if that witness genuinely observes the director signing the deed using an electronic signature, and the witness then goes on to sign the adjacent attestation clause, the deed will have been validly executed.

Who can sign a deed?

The deed must be signed by the granter or granters if the property is owned by more than one person. The deed must be legally delivered to the grantee or to someone acting on the grantee's behalf. The deed must be accepted by the grantee.

The change was made by the Companies Act and came into force on Sunday. It means that deeds can be signed on behalf of a company by one director rather than two. In English law (though not in Scots law), a deed is a more formal agreement than a simple contract.

A party to a deed cannot be a witness to another signature to that deed. Legislation does not prohibit a signatory's spouse, cohabited or civil partner from acting as a witness, and it is also generally acceptable for an employee of a party to witness that party's signature.
