Renewing a PER card You may need to use the old-fashioned legacy lookup tool. You may renew the card online using the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation's Online Renewal tool. You can pay the $45 renewal fee with a credit card. Your new PER card will be valid for the next three years.
