pdfFiller has wonderful support. You can email them or use a chat feature. From the chat feature, I was able to do a remote session through zoom to get my issues resolved quickly. Through email they always respond within 20 minutes. Great customer service!

What is formatting mask?
With a format mask, you can specify what symbol to use for numbers displayed in specific rows and columns. For example, the format mask 99,999 uses a comma, while the format mask 99*999 uses an asterisk as the thousands separator.
How do you format a currency field?
Right-click the date field, and then click Properties. In the Property Sheet, select the format you want from the Format property list.
How do I change the date format in an RTF template?
You say the source is query. If you look at the generated sql you will see that a to_char(,'YYYY-MM-DD') has been put around the date field. You need an expression that puts to_char(to_date(,'YYYY-MM-DD'),'MM/DD/YYYY') around it - ie convert it back to a date and then to_char to what you want. SQL server uses CONVERT.
