make the table cell dark and the text white. This way the whole cell will stand out. Add an extra shape e.g. a circle with an outline and transparent filling over the table. Or even better, add a hand drawn swoosh shape.
Step 1: Add a table style. Adding a table style is a quick and easy way to make your data stand out. Step 2: Add visualization to your data with in cell data bars. Now that the table is styled, let's add some visualization. Step 3: Add spark line graphs. To add an extra special touch let's add some spark line graphs.
Number Each Row You can make your table easy to read by numbering each row. This allows users to refer to a row by its number. It also helps users scan the rows without losing their place as they progress. Row numbers tell users how many rows are in a table so that they can get a feel for the information density.
Click on Table from the menu bar. Select Insert, and then Table Enter the desired number of rows and columns. Choose AutoFit behavior if you want the table's cells to automatically expand to fit the text inside them. Click OK to insert your table.
Add Zebra Stripes This simple technique can increase the readability of both large and small tables, but it's a good rule of thumb to always include stripes (or some other visual aid) if your table requires the reader to connect pieces of information that are more than an inch or two apart.
Choose a good font. Sans-serif fonts (such as Helvetica and Calibri) are always good for presenting data. Align your data. Give your data some space. Define your headers. Choose your colors carefully. Shade alternate rows for readability. Use Grids Sparingly. Create cell styles for consistency.
