Excellent programme
Excellent programme, does exactly what you need it to. I'm very satisfied with it.The only reason I didn't rank it 5 stars, was because it is slightly slow to use, in that there are a lot of buttons and windows.It could be made to be more intuitive, and more straightforward.But nevertheless, it does do what I need! So no complaints.

How many pixels does it take to identify a person?
In summary, the required pixel resolution is: Identification of a person that you know 80 pixels/ft. Forensic identification of a person you don't know 160 pixels/ft. The Best identification when there are poor conditions 180 pixels/ft.
How many pixels are required for facial recognition?
If face or license plate recognition is required, at least 45 pixels per foot (148 pixels per meter) should be obtained. Figure 1 illustrates the difference in image detail at various levels from 20 pixels per foot (66 pixels per meter) to 100 pixels per foot (328 pixels per meter).
How do you calculate pixels per Meter?
The easiest way to calculate ppm for a specific scene is to point the camera where you want to calculate ppm, and then divide the number of pixels of your image by the distance in meters of the field of view of your camera in that specific point.
How many pixels are in a foot?
To some, this number might sound high, and in fact some vendors or independent sources recommend 40 pixels for a face or 100 pixels per foot for recognition.
What is Doris distance?
DORIS stands for Detect, Observe, Recognize, Identify. The DORIS distance is a general proximity of distance which makes it easy to pinpoint the right camera for your needs.
How do you determine pixel size?
Take the value in the “Width (mm)” column and divide it by the width in pixels. This is called “pixel size x”. Take the value in the “Height (mm)” column and divide it by the height in pixels. This is called “pixel size y”. Calculate the average between the two values — (“pixel size x” + “pixel size y”) / 2.
How much is 2 megapixels?
Multiplying the horizontal and vertical pixel count and dividing the result by 1,000,000 will yield the total pixel count expressed in megapixels. For example, a camera with 1600 (H) x 1200 (V) pixels equals 1,920,000 pixels, divided by 1,000,000 is 1.9. This is considered a 2 megapixel (2MP) camera.
What is pixel per meter?
PPM (Pixels Per Meter) Pixels Per Meter is a measurement used to define the amount of potential image detail that a camera offers at a given distance. Digital images are divided into grids of pixels or blocks, each one containing the color for that specific point in the image.
