Answer to my prayers. TurboTax, IRS, other www sites gave me horrors. I started your site one day and somehow decided to leave and why I decided to go back to those other sites again was a HUGE mistake ... it all gave me horrors. I prayed again this morning and low and behold, your site was simple as apples to apples. I gave God the biggest smile and thank you for solving my nightmare to fill out the contractors 1099-misc for 2016. Late I am and was because of my health, and the contractor didn't sign the W-9 form which I had waited for which he finally emailed it to me. One question here with this form finished, do you send IRs their copy or do I need to do it myself? Pls respond a.s.a.p., I want to send it today if I need to do this. Thanks, Janet Mac Neal

What do you like best?
The ability to create a document, upload a document, search and find document files, edit, and then fax or email to anyone anywhere right from the convenience of your laptop anywhere in the world. All documents created are saved in your account for return access, and activities (fax, email and receipts for delivery) are also recorded and saved.
What do you dislike?
So far I have not discovered something I do not like. I have uploaded, created, searched for online documents to use, and both faxed and e-mailed documents without an issue.

Can work and send from home, work, on the road. No need to hunt for a fax service / company; no need to leave where I am at to go fax a document; can work and send documents in the middle of the night right from home or while on the road; have been able to search and find online documents and upload into account for editing use; easy to share documents via PDFiller; you can send documents to anyone with an e-mail address - your recipient does not need to leave their laptop either!

Are you supposed to sign your tax return?
A tax return that is being mailed and not e-filed must be signed and dated by the taxpayer (and spouse if applicable). Any form W-2's and form 1099's that have taxes withheld need to be included with the mailed tax returns.
What qualifies as a signed tax return?
What qualifies as a 'signed' tax return? To qualify as a 'signed tax return' the document must either: Be signed by at least one of the tax filers. Or, include the tax preparer's stamped, typed, signed, or printed name and SSN, EIN (Employer Identification Number), or PAIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number).
What does a signed tax return look like?
If you need a “signed” copy of your printed tax return, you pick up a blue or black pen and sign it near the bottom by that rather large black arrow next to the words, “Sign Here.”
What happens if I didn't sign my tax return?
No there isn't a way to correct it, a printed and mailed federal tax return without a signature will be returned by the IRS to the address shown on the tax return. You will need to wait until the IRS mails it back to you to sign the tax return and mail back to the IRS.
Where do you sign a 1040?
The signature line on the new Form 1040 is located directly below the Dependent section, almost in the middle of the form.
What happens if you forget to sign your tax return?
If you submitted your return without signing it, all is not lost. In all likelihood, the IRS will simply send you a letter requesting your signature. And once they receive your signature, they'll go ahead and process your return.
