i thought it was a free program but I needed to pay for it when I tried to print the document, it required payment. I did so, but then complained to the company and they fully refunded my money

The software could use some updating. It is not the easiest to edit the document. The app also kept crashing on me and I had to start all over again. It was very frustrating.

How do I file a complaint against a union?

Who can I complain to about my union?
Complain to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). This is a federal agency responsible for enforcing federal labor laws and has jurisdiction over union violations of the law as well as employer violations.
Can you sue your union?
Workers, other than those covered by the Public Service Employee Relations Act, whose unions have not fairly represented them cannot sue them in court. Workers must file their complaint to the Alberta LAB within 90 days of the union's decision or 45 days from being notified of the outcome of an appeal.
What to do when your union is not helping you?
Go to the National Labor Relations Board. If the union still refuses to help you, you can go to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and file a complaint against your union. You must do this within 180 days of the time the union refused to do anything about your grievance.
Who do I report unfair labor practices to?
You can report an unfair labor practice, or UP, charge to the National Labor Relations Board. You also may be able to file a UP charge with your state board, depending on where you live and whether you work for the government or for a private employer.
Can you sue your local union?
No. If you are part of a union you cannot sue your employer in court, you must make use of the grievance procedures in the collective agreement. You can file an administrative complaint against the union for its decision not to proceed with your grievance, but you cannot sue your employer or the union in court.
