Can you upgrade a replacement phone?
If your phone is still under warranty, the carrier or manufacturer will repair or replace your phone if it stops working. If you're under warranty (or insurance), you can expect your phone to be fixed or replaced if problems arise, but it's rarely going to be an opportunity to score a free upgrade.
Can you upgrade a lost phone?
If an old phone is lost, stolen, or heavily damaged, users can still use a Jump program upgrade, but they will need to pay a T-Mobile jump deductible on the lost phone.
Can I report my phone stolen and get a new one?
If you believe your phone has been stolen, file a police report. In the same vein, most insurance companies won't pay out to replace your phone unless you provide a police report number.
How much does it cost to upgrade your phone?
In general, upgrading to the newest model would cost you: An extra $25 a month, the typical price for financing or leasing a phone. Or. $199, the typical price for subsidizing a phone with a contract. Or. $650 or more to buy your phone outright.
Is it better to report phone lost or broken?
Reporting a broken phone as stolen would be fraud, which would be illegal. Do the right thing, either get it fixed, or buy a new one. Leave the phone out for someone to steal, then report it stolen Getting it fixed or replaced is a lot less of a hassle than reporting it stolen.
How do I replace a lost iPhone?
If it's covered by AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss, you can file a claim for an iPhone replacement. Use the Find My app or go to iCloud.com to mark your iPhone as lost. Do not remove your device from your account until your claim has been fully approved.
What happens to my old phone when I upgrade?
