What is accessibility mode in Word?
By selecting the Accessibility Mode button, your document is transformed into a PDF format for you to see how others without editing privileges will see your document. To return to regular viewing, click the Accessibility Mode button again.
How do you know if a Word document is accessibility?
To check accessibility in Word, click the File tab in the Ribbon to open the Backstage View. In the Info section, click the Check for Issues drop-down button in the Inspect Document area. Then click the Check Accessibility command to launch the task pane. A list of Errors and/or Warnings may appear.

How do I fix accessibility issues in Word?
Click the File tab on the left end of the ribbon.
On the Info page, click the Check for Issues button.
Click Check Accessibility from the menu that drops down.
In the pane that appears beside your document, you see a list of accessibility issues.
