Purpose: The Incident Briefing form provides the Incident Commander (and the Command and General Staffs assuming command of the incident) with basic information regarding the incident situation and the resources allocated to the incident.
The ICS 206 is prepared by the Medical Unit Leader and reviewed by the Safety Officer to ensure ICS coordination. Distribution. The ICS 206 is duplicated and attached to the Incident Objectives (ICS 202) and given to all recipients as part of the Incident Action Plan (IAP).
The General Staff is made up of four sections: Operations, Planning, Logistics, and Finance/Administration. As mentioned previously, the person in charge of each section is designated as a Chief.
