Pretty easy to use...so far.
The only thing that concerns me was I didn't realize I had to pay for this until I had finished filling out a complex form. How did i miss that information at the beginning?

On the first day of use, I thought I had lost all the data I entered. I received help via a chat and verified my data was intact. This is going to be an extremely useful product for me as a consultant.

I had some initial problems (undoing things and a pop-up overtime I used text boxes). Customer support representative Ellie guided me through it and was able to resolve most of my problems. I still wish I could use the text boxes without the pop-up though. I believe at this time it is not possible.

I've only used it a few times, but I think that I might be using it more over the next couple of years, as my daughter finishes high school and goes through the college application process! She's also on a couple of sports teams which require the same forms every year; it will be nice to have the info already entered and just modify some dates!

What do you like best?
I loved how I could easily convert and edit my documents without hassle. And when I needed to cancel my subscription and i contacted customer support the response time was fast and resolved swiftly

I'm barely new but I really like it already.. pdfFiller is an awesome tool for any/all types of documents/documentation needs or requests, and I am not to computer savvy so I would really like to attend a webinar to learn how to use the full capabilities pdfFiller has to offer in general. so far I am TOTALLY satisfied! What states have wage theft laws?
Thus far, only Colorado, the District of Columbia, Minnesota, and New Jersey have adopted wage theft laws. Colorado's law becomes effective on January 1, 2020. However, it is only a matter of time before more states move in this direction.

Wage theft is the unlawful practice of employers not paying their employees the full amount for the work they have performed. The Labor Commissioner's Office inspects workplaces for wage and hour violations, adjudicates wage claims, and investigates retaliation complaints. The Wage Theft Prevention Act (WPA) took effect on April 9, 2011. The law requires employers to give written notice of wage rates to each new hire. The notice must include: Rate or rates of pay, including overtime rate of pay (if it applies) How the employee is paid: by the hour, shift, day, week, commission, etc.

Pay in lieu of notice. If a notice period such as one month is required for an employer to terminate a contract, a 'payment in lieu of notice' is immediate compensation at an amount equal to that an employee would have earned as salary or wages by working through the whole notice period: for example, one month's salary
