After a slow start and feeling misled by the "fill in your form for free" and then having to pay, I did get a full refund. The tech support was excellent - they were the only ones, that I could find, that could get me the rather complex fill in form from NY State Tax authorities (RP-5217). I still feel I should not have to pay a third party to file a required tax form - but that is an issue I'll have to take up with NYS, wish me good luck with that one.

The intricacies of weaving through browser and google app to use this plugin are quite noteworthy. I consider it a great achievement that the plugin seems to work, even when it encounters strange circumstances. For all that this is a bit ungainly, there were some things I wished worked a little better, but overall quite good.

PS: Hold down Ctrl key to uncheck. Radio buttons are meant to be used in groups, as defined by their sharing the same name attribute. Then clicking on one of them deselects the currently selected one.
A radio button or option button is a graphical control element that allows the user to choose only one of a predefined set of mutually exclusive options. For example, for a radio button group named Sex with the options Male and Female, the variable Sex would not be passed, even with a blank value.
hide the radio button using javascript. Use javascript to add/display HTML that can be styled how you like e.g. Define css rules for a selected state, which is triggered by adding a class “selected" to yuor span.
display: block; position: relative; padding-left: 35px; position: absolute; opacity: 0; cursor: pointer; position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; background-color: #ccc; background-color: #2196F3; content: ""; position: absolute; display: block; top: 9px; left: 9px; width: 8px;
Radio buttons are groups of buttons in which, by convention, only one button at a time can be selected. The Swing release supports radio buttons with the JRadioButton and ButtonGroup classes. To put a radio button in a menu, use the JRadioButtonMenuItem class.
Note: The radio group must have share the same name (the value of the name attribute) to be treated as a group. Note: The value attribute defines the unique value associated with each radio button.
Only one radio button in a given group can be selected at the same time. Radio buttons are typically rendered as small circles, which are filled or highlighted when selected.
