like the program overall. It took me longer than I anticipated to learn the navigation. Must have taken me like 2 hours just to find the forms catalog on the main screen.

Very excellent filler app. Nice that you can find form online and automatically fill it out.
Doesn't let you use it very long before it tried to make me pay for it

What does serial interface mean?
A serial interface is a communication interface between two digital systems that transmits data as a series of voltage pulses down a wire. A “1" is represented by a high logical voltage and a “0" is represented by a low logical voltage.
What is a serial port used for?
A port, or interface, that can be used for serial communication, in which only 1 bit is transmitted at a time. A serial port is a general-purpose interface that can be used for almost any type of device, including modems, mice, and printers (although most printers are connected to a parallel port).
What does a serial port look like?
A serial port is male in gender, and has either 9 pins or 25 pins. The shape of the port is slightly D-shaped. A serial computer port may be used for a mouse, external modem, scanner, or other linking software such as for a personal data assistant (PDA). Only very old computers have a 25-pin serial port.
What is a serial interface on a router?
That serial port is what's called the console port. It is used to access the router console for administration and configuration. This cable is called a Most Cable, and has a DB9 connector on one end and an RJ45 on the other. This cable is also called a Rollover Cable.
How do I connect two Cisco routers via serial?
There are many ways to connect two routers back-to-back. 1: Connect through Ethernet ports: use a crossover cable to directly connect the routers together through two Ethernet ports. 2: Connect through serial ports: use a DCE/DUE cable to connect the serial ports.
What is the use of serial port in router?
That serial port is what's called the console port. It is used to access the router console for administration and configuration. This cable is called a Most Cable, and has a DB9 connector on one end and an RJ45 on the other. This cable is also called a Rollover Cable.
What is PCI serial port used for?
A Dell PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) serial port is a printed circuit board expansion card that fits inside a Dell computer, to provide a serial connection between the computer motherboard's PCI bus, and external hardware that utilizes serial signals.
What is the difference between serial and Ethernet interface?
The key difference between a serial (or parallel) port on a computer and an Ethernet port is what you're connecting. Ethernet on the other hand is only network connection used for much larger networks permitting other devices and computers to communicate with each other over very long distances.
What is an Ethernet interface?
Ethernet networking interface refers to a circuit board or card installed in a personal computer or workstation, as a network client. A networking interface allows a computer or mobile device to connect to a local area network (LAN) using Ethernet as the transmission mechanism.
How do I know if I have DUE or DCE?
If you can see the DTE/DCE cable, you can tell by looking which router has the DCE interface connected to it — the letters "DTE" or "DCE" will either be molded into the connector itself, or if it's an older cable there should be a little piece of tape on the cable that tells you what the interface type is.
What is the difference between serial DCE and DUE?
DCE stands for data circuit-terminating, data communications, or data carrier equipment — this is a modem or more generally, a line adapter. DUE stands for data terminal equipment which generally is a terminal or a computer. Basically, these two are the different ends of a serial line.
What is a DCE connection?
A data circuit-terminating equipment (DCE) is a device that sits between the data terminal equipment (DUE) and a data transmission circuit. It is also called data communication(s) equipment and data carrier equipment. Usually, the DUE device is the terminal (or computer), and the DCE is a modem.
Is a modem classified as DUE or DCE?
Usually, the DTE device is the terminal (or a computer emulating a terminal), and the DCE is a modem or another carrier-owned device.
What is the difference between serial DUE and DCE?
DCE stands for data circuit-terminating, data communications, or data carrier equipment — this is a modem or more generally, a line adapter. DUE stands for data terminal equipment which generally is a terminal or a computer. Basically, these two are the different ends of a serial line.
How does DUE communicate with DCE?
DCE works at the physical layer of the OSI model taking data generated by Data Terminal Equipment (DUE) and converting it into a signal that can then be transmitted over a communications link. A common DCE example is a modem which works as a translator of digital and analogue signals.
