We are an accounting office in Kansas and we have quite a few clients that are out of town and this program allowed us to get signatures with out having the clients come into the office multiple times. Step 1: Select the text you will add double strikethrough to in the Message Window. Step 2: Click the Launcher at the bottom right corner in the Font group on the Format Text tab. Step 3: In the Font dialog box, check the Double strikethrough option in the Effects section.
Release the Ctrl+Alt keys and click on the Strikethrough option in the Font dialog box (shown with the red circle in the above image). Customize Keyboard dialog box will open. Put your cursor in the Press new shortcut key box and press the shortcut key combination that you would like to set for strikethrough option.
Now press Ctrl+Alt and while holding both these keys down, press plus key on your Numeric Pad (Numpad). Your cursor will change to a clove shaped one. Release the Ctrl+Alt keys and click on the Strikethrough option in the Font dialog box (shown with the red circle in the above image).
(A good combination to consider is Alt+Shift+S or Ctrl+Alt+S, neither of which are used in a default installation of Word.) Click the Assign button. The shortcut key is now assigned to apply strikethrough formatting. Click Close to dismiss the Customize Keyboard dialog box.

How to Apply Strikethrough Formatting to Text. When you've got your text selected, look on the Home tab of Word's Ribbon. In the Font group, click the Strikethrough button (it's the three letters with a line drawn through them). Now, any text you had selected should be struck through.
Select the cells you want to strikeout in your spreadsheet. Hit Ctrl + 1 to open the Format Cells dialog box. Navigate to the Font tab. Select Strikethrough. Click OK.
Strikethrough in comments In a new tab, open up YayText's strikethrough text generator. Enter the text you want to put a line through, into the "Your Text" box. Then click the "copy" button next to the strike style you want to use.
Next, tap the "Format" menu shortcut at the top of the screen, then select "Strikethrough" from the drop-down menu. Any text you now enter will have a line through its center.
