Attaching Sticky Notes to PDFs

Sometimes, when completing a PDF form we don’t know the exact answer to a particular question or need feedback from the document recipient. In situations like this, you can add comments to PDF documents online.

In the past, you probably had to print the form and write your comments on the margins of the paper copy. Depending on your handwriting, the form might not have been very tidy and pleasant to look at. Now there is a far easier way to comment PDFs online. pdfFiller's simple but powerful document editor allows you to attach sticky notes with comments and remove them when they are no longer needed.

To get started, upload a form to your account or open a document that’s already there. Select the Sticky tool in the main toolbar, click where you want to place the note and type your comment. To resize the sticky note, drag its corners or edges. Change the font and its size by choosing from the drop-down lists.

You can underline, italicize or make your text bold.

Change position of the text using the vertical and horizontal alignment tools.

To change the color of your text, click the text color box and select the color you want.

To change the background color, click the Box icon and select the color from the palette.

To link the sticky note to a web page, click the Hyperlink button.

In the dialog window that will open next, type the URL of the web page, then click Save. To delete the sticky note, click the trash can icon above it.

PDFfiller in a medical office Overall, very pleased with the program. Love the east of use, wish the file saving was a little easier. I like being able to upload patient forms that need completed (i.e. FMLA or short term disability) and completing neatly with PDFfiller, instead of handwriting, etc. I love the east of emailing or faxing directly from the program as well. The confirmation of receipt or email being read is nice. Some times the text boxes are difficult to line up or get placed properly but I really feel with more use I will become better with these small tweaks.

How do I view all my sticky notes?

Click or tap the Start button, and then type “Sticky Notes”. Click or tap the Sticky Notes app to open it. If only a single note is displayed when you open the app, click or tap the ellipsis icon ( ) in the upper-right of the note and then click or tap Notes list to see all your notes.

How can I add comments to a PDF?

Choose Tools > Text Tool. Choose Notes > Anchored Note. Drag in the document until the note is located where you want. To enter text, double-click the note. A window will show containing the text of the note. You can also add a simple image to the note.

How to convert PandaDoc to PDF?

Open the file you want to convert in your preferred word processing application. Click on the File tab. In Windows, click Print and select Microsoft print to PDF. Alternatively, click on Export to and select PDF in MacOS or Download and then PDF document in Google Docs.

Can you upload Documents to PandaDoc?

You can upload PDF, Word, PowerPoint, JPG, and PNG files. Maximum file size is 50MB. You can import files in bulk from the document list. To do this, click on Documents at the left panel, select the +Document button, then Bulk import from the dropdown.
