It would be much more efficient if multiple copies of the same form were filled automatically with the information entered on the original. Completing the documents should be quicker and simpler, no reason one has to play with font size and trying to pin point the location of the mouse to ensure proper destination in the field of entry on the form.

How long does it take for the DMV to send your license?
We mail your license, learner permit or non-driver ID to the address we have our records. Allow 2 weeks to receive the document. If your document is not delivered two weeks after the date the document was processed, you can send a question to us online, call the DMV or visit your local DMV office.
How long does it take to get your ID in the mail in CA?
You will receive your new CA identification card in the mail within 60 days. If your ID card hasn't arrived after 60 days, call the CA DMV at (800) 777-0133 to check the status of your application.
Can I check the status of my California ID?
If you have not received your DL within 60 days, call 1-800-777-0133 to check the status.
How long does it take to get real ID in mail?
With central issuance, you receive a temporary secure paper DL/ID immediately and your permanent DL/ID will arrive in the mail in approximately 15 business days.
How long does it take to get an ID card from DMV?
You must apply at a DMV office. 1 We will give you a temporary non-photo document at the DMV office. Allow 2 weeks to receive your photo ID card in the mail.
How long does it take for Real ID to arrive?
Usually within 60 days by mail. Learn more at REAL ID.DMV.ca.gov.
How long does it take to get a real ID?
*Please note that the TSA and federal agents will not accept the paper document. Step 7: After review and verification of documents have been conducted, your new permanent REAL ID card will be mailed to you within 15 business days.
Can you expedite a real ID?
If you need it faster than that, you have 3 options. You can pay an extra $60 to expedite the passport by mail and get your passport in about 3 weeks. Any problem with the application will cause a 1-week delay or more.
