I was desperately trying to edit a pdf copy of the P&S and we could not convert it to a Word document. Finding your website where I could make edits to the form, made my life a whole lot easier. However, I work for a law firm and we normally do not have to do these types of documents. So I am afraid I will have to cancel once the document is finalized. When a field needs to be erased, the program always resets to add text. You have to re-select the erase button after each erased field.

Some issues with editing documents
Some issues with editing documents. A specific example is that it can be hard to remove checks and X's from document, but overall one of the best document editors i have used.

What do you like best?
The fact that you can make templates for repeat use. That saves me a lot of time.
What do you dislike?
The cost is a little high for what I use it for- just doing some monthly billing for a handful of clients.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
It saves me time and I have a lot of difficulties filling out insurance forms by hand as the fields are so small.

Can a handyman pull a permit?
No, there is no handyman license in the state of California. However, just like in most states, there are limitations on the services you can provide without obtaining a contractor's license. I've described the limitations below in detail.
What type of work can a handyman do legally?
Well, take a closer look at what you are being allowed to do! Handymen can do repairs all day long. They can do maintenance, minor jobs like installing trim, power washing and staining a deck, trash hauling, touching up paint, or minor dry rot repairs, furniture and cabinet assembly.
Can a handyman do plumbing work?
A qualified handyman, though, can often tackle in one visit several smaller projects that don't require licensing. And even most of the electrical and plumbing we can do without licensing. For plumbing, a license is required if you're changing lines, but we can install a toilet.
What can you do with a handyman license?
Typically, handyman work involves small jobs, quick repairs, or work valued under a certain dollar amount, but the laws vary by state. Contractors differ from handymen in that they are involved in major work such as commercial or residential contracting, which usually involves a bidding process.
Can a handyman do HVAC work?
A handyman is skilled at a wide range of general maintenance and home repair jobs. Make sure that if you plan to perform any plumbing, electrical or HVAC work that you check the licensing requirements as these are commonly not covered under the handyman or general contractor license requirements.
What happens if a contractor does not pull a permit?
Continuing the project with permits For any permit pulled after the fact, you'll face a fine that will double what would have been your initial cost had the contractor pulled it before the work was done. If you don't pull the proper permits, the house likely won't pass inspection should you try to sell it.
Can a contractor get in trouble for not pulling a permit?
If the do-it-yourselfer or a hired contractor does not pull permits for scopes of work requiring same, the homeowner becomes the responsible party with many times no penalty to the hired contractor. The local governing authority establishes how penalties are assessed.

For any major construction or repairs on your home, permits must be pulled by a licensed contractor. By pulling your own permit at the request of a company you've hired: Legally, you are considered to be the contractor and are required to materially supervise the work done.
