Can you cut off a skin tag with nail clippers?
Can you remove moles and skin tags at home? Home remedies, such as using nail clippers to cut off skin tags or lotions and pastes to remove moles, may cause bleeding, infection, and scarring. And it's important that your doctor check moles before they are removed.
Does it hurt to remove a skin tag with nail clippers?
In addition, people have been known to numb their tags with ice before cutting them off with clean scissors or nail clippers. Keep in mind that the area may rarely but potentially develop serious bleeding and/or an infection, so home surgical removal is not something to be taken lightly.
