How does a telephone entry system work?
Most telephone entry systems work simply: by communicating via phone line and allowing visitors outside to speak with people inside the building. In such cases, the entry system simply uses the existing phone line already running within the interior of the building and the property.
What is a telephone entry system?
One of the most common methods of controlling visitor access at gates and doors is through the use of a Telephone Entry System (TES). A TES provide communication from a secured entry point, to a resident, tenant or into a building, by communicating through the telephone lines.
How do door entry systems work?
Standard audio door entry systems are made up of a telephone handset, a control unit with a power supply, a door panel and a lock release. A doorbell unit is fixed to the external area of the door and this either operates a simple buzzer or bell or has an inbuilt microphone to allow the caller to speak.
How do I open the gate on my phone?
Residents can use Ingo to quickly open a gate, right from their cell phones. Drivers enter the parking area simply by tapping the entry button in the Ingo App. And yes, it's available on both iOS and Android phones.
