The price you will be able to get by selling the phone will be lowed if you don't pay it off and get it carrier unlocked before you sell it.
How much is the cancellation fee for Sprint?
If you've entered into a one- or two-year contract and choose to terminate or cancel your service before your contract ends, you will be charged an early termination fee of up to $350/line for Advanced Devices & up to $200/line for all other devices.
